Requests are reviewed discreetly. The goal is to understand the need, protect the family's dignity, and move quickly when a temporary intervention can prevent a larger crisis.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yad Lyad Lakewood is listed in public IRS charity records under EIN 41-3399550. Receipt language and donation processing details are handled through the active donation platform, and donors should confirm tax questions with their own advisor.
Can I use maaser money?
Many donors ask this because the support goes directly toward families in need. Please ask your Rav for personal guidance.
How does YAD L'YAD protect privacy?
The public site does not ask families to upload sensitive documents. Applicants are directed to download the form and contact the office for the proper submission path.
Can I donate by check?
Yes. Donors can contact the office for check and sponsorship instructions, or use the Admire donation form for online giving.
